Right out of high school, Sam was hired as an electrician’s helper and was able to start his apprenticeship training. He took classes to learn the theory and the Electrical Code and got plenty of field experience with his employer. After the field and class training, he got his Journeyman’s License and could work on his own. He was assigned a helper, and was wiring new homes in nothing flat and doing some service work.
